3,000 PSG Fans to Make Trip to Liverpool

Paris Saint-Germain is heading to Liverpool to play the return leg, aiming to overcome a one-goal disadvantage. It is understood that approximately 3,000 passionate PSG supporters will be present at Anfield to cheer on Luis Enrique’s team.

In the first leg, Liverpool secured a victory at the Parc des Princes with a late goal from Harvey Elliott, even though PSG controlled much of the game. Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson, also played a crucial role with several important saves. Therefore, Les Parisiens face a challenging task to advance to the Champions League quarter-finals. However, despite the previous loss, the team has expressed confidence and positivity.

On Tuesday, 3,000 PSG fans, representing about 5% of Anfield’s total capacity, are expected to be in attendance to support their team. Many of these fans are anticipated to be from the ultras groups, known for their dedicated support. There is a potential plan for a fan walk from Liverpool city center to Anfield, but this is still pending approval from the relevant authorities.
