National staff coach John Herdman has introduced Canada‘s squad for the 2022 World Cup, with Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies being the staff’s fundamental star.
The 26-man squad consists of 11 MLS gamers in goalkeepers James Pantemis (CF Montreal) and Dayne St. Clair (Minnesota United), defenders Richie Laryea (Toronto FC), Alistair Johnston, Joel Waterman and Kamal Miller (CF Montreal), in addition to midfielders Mark-Anthony Kaye, Jonathan Osorio (Toronto FC), Ismael Kone, Samuel Piette (CF Montreal) and ahead Lucas Cavallini (Vancouver Whitecaps).
Canada gained the CONCACAF octagonal and can play for the second time in a World Cup, their first participation being in Mexico again in 1986.
Three gamers dropped by Canada
LAFC goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau, Toronto centre-back Doneil Henry, who was referred to as up for Friday’s pleasant in opposition to Bahrain and was injured in warm-up, and SSV Jahn defender Scott Kennedy didn’t make the checklist.
