AC Milan Explores Potential Deal for Vasco da Gama’s Lucas Piton

AC Milan is reportedly considering a move for Vasco da Gama`s left-back Lucas Piton. The Brazilian defender could be available for a transfer fee between €5-7 million, presenting an intriguing opportunity for the Italian club.

According to sources, intermediary Camillo Autieri has presented this option to Milan, who are now carefully assessing the potential acquisition. The club`s interest in Piton could pave the way for young talent Marco Bartesaghi to gain valuable experience through a loan move.

Piton: A Versatile Option for Milan

While Milan recently secured Pervis Estupinan for the left-back position, coach Max Allegri is keen on having a reliable alternative. Piton, who will turn 25 in October, fits this requirement and offers an additional advantage with his dual Brazilian-Italian citizenship, allowing him to be registered as an EU player.

The defender`s Italian heritage even led to a call-up for the Italian national team in 2023, highlighting his potential value to Milan. Piton`s career began in the Corinthians youth system before he made a €3 million move to Vasco da Gama in January 2023.

In the current 2025 season, Piton has demonstrated his attacking prowess from the left-back position, contributing eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions for Vasco da Gama. This offensive output, combined with his defensive skills, makes him an attractive prospect for Milan as they look to strengthen their squad depth.
