AC Milan`s dedicated supporters have announced their intention to stage a protest during the team`s final match of the season against Monza. The ultras plan to leave San Siro stadium after the first 15 minutes of play, leaving the players and club officials to face the consequences of their disappointing season.
The protest comes in the wake of Milan`s 3-1 defeat to Roma, which eliminated the team from European competition for the 2025-26 season. With Monza already relegated to Serie B, the match holds little significance in terms of league standings.
Planned Protest Details
The Curva Sud ultras have outlined their plans for the protest:
- Gather at Casa Milan before the match
- Enter the stadium for the first 15 minutes of play
- Make their voices heard inside San Siro
- Leave the stadium, abandoning the team “alone with their shame”
The ultras emphasized that their actions will be carried out with “civility and respect,” urging a large turnout to send a clear message from the entire Milan fanbase.
A Season of Disappointment
Despite winning the Supercoppa Italia, Milan`s season has been marked by instability and underperformance. The club has gone through two coaches, Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceiçao, and will miss out on European competition for the first time since the 2019-20 season.
This protest is not the first time Milan ultras have expressed their dissatisfaction with the club`s leadership. They have repeatedly called for owner Gerry Cardinale to sell the club, reflecting a growing frustration with the team`s direction and results.
As the season comes to a close, the planned protest serves as a stark reminder of the passionate expectations of Milan`s supporters and the consequences of failing to meet them.
