AC Milan are reportedly keen to secure the services of promising young striker Zepiqueno Redmond from Feyenoord. The 18-year-old is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2024-25 season, making him an attractive prospect for the Italian giants.
According to Italian media reports, Milan are actively working to reach an agreement with Redmond ahead of the summer transfer window. Despite limited first-team experience in the Eredivisie, the teenager has shown impressive form at youth level, netting eight goals in 10 appearances for Feyenoord`s Under-18 side last season.
Redmond`s contract expires on June 30, allowing him to negotiate freely with other clubs. He has been training regularly with Feyenoord`s first team this season and made his Champions League debut as a starter in the playoff round against Milan, which saw the Dutch side eliminate the Rossoneri with a 2-1 aggregate victory.
Pundits have drawn comparisons between Redmond and Bayer Leverkusen`s Victor Boniface, praising the young forward`s mobility, speed, and finishing ability. His potential has not gone unnoticed, with Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth also reportedly showing interest in acquiring his services.
As Milan look to bolster their attacking options for the future, securing Redmond on a free transfer could prove to be a shrewd piece of business for the Serie A club.
