AC Milan Struggles to Secure Vlahovic, Rabiot, and Zinchenko

AC Milan`s efforts to strengthen their squad under new manager Max Allegri have hit several roadblocks. The club is facing challenges in their attempts to acquire Dusan Vlahovic, Adrien Rabiot, and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Rabiot Prefers to Stay at Marseille

Despite Allegri`s desire to reunite with Adrien Rabiot, the French midfielder appears content at Olympique Marseille and has shown little interest in leaving. Furthermore, Marseille is reluctant to sell the player, making any potential transfer highly unlikely.

Vlahovic`s Salary Poses a Problem

Dusan Vlahovic remains Milan`s top choice for strengthening their attack. However, the striker`s high salary demands present a significant obstacle. This financial hurdle is also the primary reason Juventus is considering selling Vlahovic before his contract expires in June 2026. As an alternative, Milan is considering Atalanta`s prolific scorer and Serie A top goalscorer, Mateo Retegui.

Zinchenko`s Wages Too High for Milan

With Theo Hernandez potentially leaving, Milan has shown interest in Arsenal`s Oleksandr Zinchenko as a replacement at left-back. However, the Ukrainian`s current wages at Arsenal are deemed excessive for Milan, especially considering their failure to qualify for European competitions, which has impacted their revenue.

These financial constraints and player preferences have created significant challenges for AC Milan as they seek to bolster their squad for the upcoming season under Allegri`s leadership.
