AC Milan’s New Signings Undergo Medical Examinations
Following an exciting transfer deadline day, AC Milan fans eagerly await the integration of three new players into the team. Joao Felix, Warren Bondo, and Riccardo Sottil, all secured in the final hours of the winter transfer window, are set to undergo medical examinations today.
All three players arrived at La Madonnina clinic in Milan early this morning for routine medical checks. While Bondo and Sottil already possess sports eligibility certificates from the start of the season, Felix will need to visit the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) to obtain his.
The most high-profile acquisition is undoubtedly Joao Felix, joining on loan from Chelsea. Milan will pay a total of 5 million euros, comprising a 2 million euro loan fee and 3 million euros for the player’s wages. No purchase option has been set for this deal.
Warren Bondo’s transfer from Monza was more complex, with Milan securing his services permanently for 10 million euros. The French midfielder has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract. As part of the deal, Milan’s young midfielder Kevin Zeroli moves to Monza on loan until the end of the season.
Lastly, Riccardo Sottil joins from Fiorentina on a loan deal costing 1 million euros, with an option to buy set at 10 million euros at the end of the season.
These signings represent significant reinforcements for AC Milan as they aim to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the season and beyond.
