AC Milan’s New Signings: Who Might Debut Against Roma in Coppa Italia?

AC Milan had a busy January transfer window, bringing in five new players. However, fans may need to be patient before seeing most of these new additions in action.

The Rossoneri acquired Kyle Walker from Manchester City, Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord, Joao Felix on loan from Chelsea, Warren Bondo from Monza, and Riccardo Sottil on loan from Fiorentina. Meanwhile, several players departed, including Alvaro Morata to Galatasaray and Ismael Bennacer to Marseille.

As Milan prepares for their Coppa Italia quarter-final clash with Roma on Wednesday, speculation grows about which new signings might feature. Reports suggest that none of the deadline day acquisitions are likely to start the match.

Kyle Walker, who played the full 90 minutes in Milan’s recent 1-1 draw with Inter, could make another appearance. Warren Bondo has been ruled out due to his absence from Tuesday’s training session.

There’s a possibility that Santiago Gimenez could come off the bench against Roma, as he’s reportedly in better match fitness compared to the other new signings. Joao Felix might also make a brief appearance, though likely later than Gimenez if at all.

Manager Sergio Conceicao is known for gradually integrating new players, so fans may need to be patient before seeing the full impact of Milan’s January acquisitions.
