Former Juventus President Andrea Agnelli might return to lead the club. Sources suggest he could head a group of investors to take over from Exor.

It’s reported that rumors about Agnelli’s return have been circulating recently. These rumors have neither been confirmed nor denied, indicating that his comeback is a possibility.
Agnelli and the entire Juventus board resigned in November 2022 due to an investigation into inflated capital gains. Following this, Agnelli received a two-year ban in January 2023, and Juventus faced penalties including points deduction and a ban from European competitions.
The report suggests Agnelli’s return could be in one of two forms: either as a board member, or more significantly, as the head of an investment group.
However, a return faces challenges because Exor currently holds a majority stake in Juventus, making a takeover complex. Juventus’s market value is estimated at €1.15 billion, making Exor’s stake worth a substantial amount.
To manage this, Agnelli is reportedly assembling a group of investors, potentially including American funds, to make an offer for a controlling stake in Juventus.
The coming months will reveal if Agnelli’s plan is viable and if he can effectively return to lead the club.
