In an exclusive interview, Kazakh tennis player Alexander Bublik shared his perspectives on the current tennis landscape, particularly praising Italian star Jannik Sinner and promising young talent Fonseca. Bublik, known for his eccentric personality and his fondness for Italy, where he often feels at home, expressed admiration for Sinner’s impact on the sport.
“Jannik is an incredible ambassador for our sport,” Bublik stated. “His dedication, talent, and recent successes are bringing a new wave of interest to tennis, attracting many new fans. It’s fantastic to see how he manages to inspire people and elevate the game.”
Regarding young Fonseca, a rising star, Bublik was equally optimistic. “Fonseca has enormous potential,” he declared with conviction. “He possesses the right combination of natural ability and a strong mentality to achieve great things in the future. It will undoubtedly be interesting to follow his progression on the professional circuit.”
The Kazakh player also reflected on his own approach to the game, explaining that he prefers a “normal” way of experiencing tennis, aiming to stay away from excessive pressure and constant scrutiny. This philosophy, he believes, allows him to enjoy the professional tour in a more authentic and spontaneous manner, aligning with his relaxed personality.
