Amadeus Discusses Inter’s Title Hopes and Sanremo Festival Plans
Renowned television presenter and devoted Inter Milan supporter Amadeus recently shared his views on the current Serie A season and the upcoming Sanremo Music Festival. In an exclusive interview, he offered insights on Inter’s championship aspirations, recent transfer activities, and the potential involvement of a rising football star in Italy’s most famous music event.
Regarding Inter’s title chances, Amadeus expressed caution: “It’s too early to predict the Scudetto favorite. The match against Napoli in early March will be crucial, though not necessarily decisive. Inter should aim to be at least level on points with Napoli by then, making the game against Fiorentina vital.”
On the subject of the January transfer window, Amadeus approved of Inter’s approach: “Historically, Inter doesn’t make major changes mid-season. The club and coach have stated they’re content with the current squad, and I agree. Inter’s team is strong enough to reclaim the Scudetto. They’ve made targeted acquisitions, including the underrated Zalewski, who could flourish away from Roma.”
When asked about the possibility of footballer Edoardo Bove appearing at the Sanremo Festival, Amadeus responded enthusiastically: “I’m delighted for Edoardo. Given that Carlo Conti is a huge Fiorentina fan, it would be fitting to invite him.”
Amadeus also praised Fiorentina’s recent performances and transfer strategy: “As a spectator, I always see Fiorentina as a very strong and dangerous team. Their transfer market moves have been ambitious, laying important foundations for the future. They could aim for a Champions League spot, if not this year, then certainly next season.”
