Amorim Asks INEOS to Acquire Two Star Players for Manchester United
According to recent reports, Manchester United’s new manager Ruben Amorim has made a personal request to INEOS to sign two players he is familiar with during the upcoming summer transfer window. The Portuguese coach is said to be keen on bringing Geovany Quenda and Viktor Gyokeres to Old Trafford.
Amorim’s tenure at Manchester United has had a mixed start, with some players reportedly questioning whether his tactical approach will be successful. The manager remains committed to his principles and believes bringing in players who understand his system is crucial.
Viktor Gyokeres, who has been impressive in Portugal, is one of Amorim’s top targets. There are even suggestions that a pre-summer agreement may already be in place for the Swedish striker.
The other player on Amorim’s wishlist is 17-year-old winger Geovany Quenda. Despite his young age, Quenda has already broken into Sporting CP’s first team, recording four assists in the league this season. Football talent scout Jacek Kulig has praised Quenda’s potential after the teenager scored his first goal.
While Quenda’s rapid rise at Sporting indicates he could be an excellent addition to Manchester United, his talent comes with a significant price tag. Reports suggest the young winger could cost over £30 million.
Amorim believes that bringing in players familiar with his style of play will help implement his tactical vision at Manchester United. The opportunity to work with their former manager could be a key factor in potentially luring both Gyokeres and Quenda to Old Trafford.
