Amoruso Slams Palladino: ‘His Decisions Show Confusion’

Former defender Lorenzo Amoruso recently spoke on Radio Bruno about Fiorentina’s current situation, offering harsh criticism of coach Raffaele Palladino. Amoruso expressed disappointment with Gudmundsson’s performance, noting that the player has yet to complete a full 90-minute match since joining the team.

Regarding Palladino, Amoruso pointed out the coach’s questionable tactical decisions. He criticized the substitution of Bove with Sottil, stating, “One is a midfielder, the other is a winger. You can’t make such a change; it shows you’re confused.”

Amoruso was particularly critical of Palladino’s strategy against Napoli, saying, “When I saw the formation against Napoli, I thought he had gone mad. You can’t improvise a three-man defense against them, regardless of your strategy.” He added that this decision resulted in a demoralizing defeat that will be difficult to overcome, especially with another challenging match approaching.

The former defender’s comments highlight growing concerns about Palladino’s tactical approach and decision-making, suggesting that the coach may be struggling to find effective solutions for the team’s current challenges.
