Angers will face Stade de Reims this Tuesday in a crucial Coupe de France quarter-final match. However, they will have to play without their leading goalscorer, Estéban Lepaul.
Lepaul, who has been in excellent form recently, also missed the previous game against AS Saint-Étienne due to an adductor injury. This injury will keep him out of the Reims match as well. Ibrahima Niane and Bamba Dieng are the likely candidates to replace him in the central striker position.
On a positive note for Angers, Jean-Eudes Aholou returns to the squad after serving a suspension in the last match. There could also be changes in defense, with reserve goalkeeper Melvin Zinga expected to start, continuing his Coupe de France appearances. Carlens Arcus and Emmanuel Biumla are also in contention for starting roles.
Predicted Angers Starting XI vs Reims
Melvin Zinga; Jacques Ekomié, Jordan Lefort, Emmanuel Biumla, Lilian Raolisoa; Yassin Belkhdim, Jean-Eudes Aholou; Farid El Melali, Himad Abdelli, Jim Allevinah; Ibrahima Niane.
