Gennady Golubin, representing Real Sociedad midfielder Arsen Zakharyan, has provided an update on the player’s health.
“There is currently no information on when Arsen will be able to return to the field. He will definitely not play in the upcoming match against Manchester United. He is gradually training, but the exact date of his return is still unknown. In the game against Leganes, Arsen had a very intense first half with numerous long-range shots. This high workload led to a slight overload of his thigh, resulting in a minor muscle tear,” said Golubin.
Arsen Zakharyan was recognized as the best player for Real Sociedad by fans in the La Liga matchday 25 against Leganes (3:0), which took place on Sunday, February 23rd. The 21-year-old started the game and scored in the first half but was substituted at halftime due to a leg spasm.
