Arsenal pursuing £50m talent who could form incredible partnership with Saka

Arsenal’s season has not gone entirely to plan so far, with the team out of both domestic cups and trailing in the Premier League title race. The absence of star player Bukayo Saka due to injury has been a significant blow.

However, recent reports suggest Arsenal are targeting an exciting young attacker who could not only help fill the void left by Saka’s injury, but also form a formidable partnership with him when he returns.

According to The Independent, Arsenal are among several Premier League clubs interested in Bayern Munich’s 19-year-old forward Mathys Tel. The French youngster is said to be open to a move to Arsenal due to the prospect of more regular playing time.

While Tottenham have reportedly already had a £50m bid accepted for Tel, the player is taking his time to decide his future. This gives Arsenal a chance to make their move for the highly-rated prospect.

Tel’s goal and assist numbers are impressive for his age and limited playing time. Last season he averaged a goal involvement every 88 minutes across all competitions. His clinical finishing and intelligent movement would complement Saka’s creative play perfectly.

Having Tel as a threat on the left flank would also prevent teams from double-marking Saka, giving the England star more space to operate. A Tel-Saka wing partnership has the potential to terrorize defenses across Europe.

While £50m is a significant fee for a teenager, Tel’s immense potential makes him worth pursuing aggressively. Arsenal must do all they can to bring this exceptional talent to North London and pair him with their homegrown star Saka.
