Arsenal Set Sights on Barcelona’s £50m Star as Agent Visits England

Arsenal are increasingly interested in signing a Barcelona player during the January transfer window. The player’s agent has traveled to England this week to explore opportunities in the Premier League, including potential interest from Arsenal.

However, Arsenal’s primary target appears to be Barcelona’s Dani Olmo. The Spanish international, who joined Barcelona for around £50 million last summer, has caught the attention of Arsenal’s interim sporting director Jason Ayto. The Daily Mail has corroborated Arsenal’s interest, revealing that Olmo’s chief agent, Andy Bara, visited England this week and attended Manchester City’s 1-1 draw with Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

While Bara claims his visit was for a holiday, he is actively exploring transfer options for his client. The Daily Mail names Arsenal as a potential destination for Olmo, along with Manchester United and Manchester City.

Arsenal are eager to determine if Olmo will be available in January, as Barcelona struggles with financial issues that may force them to offload players.
