Arsenal are considering a straight swap offer involving Albert Sambi Lokonga in their pursuit to sign Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli, according to Italian outlet CalcioMercatoWeb.
Locatelli, 24, is currently at Juventus on a two-year loan deal from Sassuolo. There is an obligation to buy included within the deal, but the player is reportedly not in manager Massimiliano Allegri’s long-term plans.
As for Lokonga, the 22-year-old has struggled to secure regular game time since arriving at the Emirates from Anderlecht in 2021 for a fee of around €17.5 million.
As per the report, a direct player exchange is thought to be a concrete possibility between the two sides.
