AS Roma Names Price for Marseille Target Nicola Zalewski

Olympique de Marseille has expressed strong interest in acquiring AS Roma’s Nicola Zalewski during the current transfer window. However, the potential deal is facing obstacles.

The Italian club has established a €5 million asking price for the 23-year-old midfielder. Zalewski has made 17 appearances across all competitions this season, providing two assists but no goals. The set price appears to be a sticking point in negotiations between the two clubs.

Marseille’s pursuit of midfield reinforcements comes as Ismaël Koné, 22, seems likely to depart. The Canadian international was absent from recent training and match day activities.

In addition to Zalewski, Marseille is also considering Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli, 23, as they seek to bolster their midfield options during this transfer period.
