Aston Villa Eyes PSG’s Marco Asensio in Potential Transfer Move
Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain could be engaging in multiple transfer discussions this January. The Premier League club has expressed interest in PSG’s out-of-favor forward Randal Kolo Muani (26). However, their attention isn’t limited to just one player, as reports suggest they’re also considering a move for Marco Asensio (28).
PSG appears open to Asensio’s departure this month. The Spanish player has had limited playing time at Parc des Princes, and the club is exploring options to strengthen their forward line. Interestingly, PSG has shown interest in Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, having already initiated contact with the player.
Should Asensio desire to leave in January, PSG would not impede his transfer. Aston Villa is reportedly monitoring Asensio’s situation with a potential January transfer in mind. While a direct swap involving Duran isn’t currently on the table, it remains a possibility that could be explored in future negotiations.
This potential move highlights the dynamic nature of the January transfer window, with clubs on both sides of the Channel considering various options to strengthen their squads for the remainder of the season.
