Atalanta’s Setback: Cuadrado Injured, Out for Inter Game

Juan Cuadrado, who played with energy and determination as a starter against Juventus, will be unable to face his other former team. He is sidelined for Sunday evening’s significant match against Inter, scheduled for 8:45 PM at Gewiss Stadium.

Following instrumental tests conducted after feeling discomfort at the Allianz Stadium, the diagnosis revealed a first-degree lesion of the fascia of the right femoral biceps muscle. This injury will keep him off the field for at least twenty days.

Consequently, the 36-year-old Colombian player will miss not only the Inter match but also, very likely, the game against Fiorentina at the end of the month. He is expected to return for the direct clash against Lazio in early April.

Coach Gasperini, already without Scamacca, Kossounou, Scalvini, and Posch, loses a key attacking player. In Turin, Cuadrado was tested not as a winger but in the attacking trident, to provide rotation for De Ketelaere and exploit his forward drive, which yielded very positive results.
