Barcelona Agrees to Sell Young Midfielder Hernandez to Al-Ittihad
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona and Al-Ittihad have reached an agreement for the transfer of midfielder Unai Hernandez to the Saudi club.
The Catalan giants will receive a fixed sum of 4.5 million euros, with an additional 500,000 euros in potential bonuses. Barcelona has also secured a buyback clause for a predetermined amount.
The 20-year-old Hernandez has been a standout player for Barcelona’s B team, featuring in 59 matches and contributing 19 goals and 10 assists. He has also made six appearances for the first team, scoring twice and providing two assists.
This transfer marks another significant move in the growing trend of young European talents being attracted to the Saudi Arabian league, which has been making waves in the football transfer market recently.
