Barcelona Coach Xavi Reflects on Decisive Victory Against Valencia
Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance following their commanding 7-1 victory over Valencia in the 21st round of La Liga.
“The players demonstrated great energy and commitment today,” Xavi remarked. “They were fully engaged in the game and delivered an outstanding performance. I’m very pleased with how the team played.”
When asked about the challenge of managing a deep squad, Xavi responded positively: “Having many options is a good problem to have. I prefer this situation to having only eleven players available. We have a talented group with excellent team spirit, and it’s my job to make the best selections.”
Following this decisive win, Barcelona now sits in third place in the league table with 42 points, trailing league leaders Real Madrid by 7 points. Meanwhile, Valencia finds themselves in a precarious position, occupying the 19th spot with just 16 points.
