Barcelona Player Downplays Real Madrid’s Refereeing Complaints

Barcelona midfielder Lamin Yamal has revealed that the team has not discussed Real Madrid’s recent complaints about refereeing in La Liga. In a statement to Mundo Deportivo, Yamal emphasized the squad’s focus on their own performance and continued success.

“To be honest, we haven’t talked about it at all,” Yamal stated. “We’re in a good place right now and we’re concentrating on ourselves and on continuing to win matches. I believe that when a team is performing well, they don’t pay attention to external noise. They simply focus on winning and continuing to play their game.”

This comes in the wake of reports suggesting that Real Madrid is considering leaving La Liga due to ongoing disputes over officiating. The club has reportedly sent a letter to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) demanding reforms in the league’s refereeing system. Real Madrid claims that the current officiating has been systematically detrimental to the club.

Despite the controversy surrounding their rivals, Barcelona appears to be maintaining their concentration on the field, with players like Yamal emphasizing the importance of focusing on their own performance rather than external distractions.
