Bayer Leverkusen has successfully acquired the services of AS Roma defender Mario Hermoso on a loan deal, as announced by the German club’s official channels. The agreement for the 30-year-old Spanish center-back is set to run until June 30, 2025.

Hermoso had only joined Roma in September 2024 as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Atletico Madrid. During his brief stint with the Italian side, the experienced defender made 13 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal.
