Bayer Leverkusen’s head coach, Xabi Alonso, has confirmed that negotiations are underway regarding striker Victor Boniface’s potential move to Al-Nassr.
“The situation exists, and I understand it,” Alonso stated. “Discussions are ongoing between the clubs. We need to wait and see. Of course, we are preparing for matches without Boni,” the coach added, as reported by insider Fabrizio Romano.
The 24-year-old Boniface has been in impressive form this season, netting 8 goals in 15 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen. His current contract with the German club is set to expire in the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the Nigerian striker’s market value is estimated at 45 million euros.
