Bayern Munich and Freiburg victorious in Bundesliga matchday 20
Bayern Munich earned a hard-fought 4-3 home victory against Holstein Kiel in matchday 20 of the German Bundesliga. Harry Kane was the star for Bayern, netting a brace with goals in first-half stoppage time and immediately after the break. Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry also got on the scoresheet for the hosts.
Holstein Kiel mounted a late comeback attempt, with Steven Skrzybski scoring twice in stoppage time and Finn Porath adding another, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Bayern’s lead.
The win keeps Bayern Munich atop the Bundesliga table with 51 points, extending their lead over second-place Bayer Leverkusen to 9 points. However, Leverkusen have a game in hand.
In another matchday 20 fixture, Freiburg secured a 1-0 away victory against Bochum. Kiliann Sildillia scored the lone goal for Freiburg in the 34th minute to give the visitors all three points.
