Bayern Munich Considers Offloading Sacha Boey to French Clubs

Bayern Munich is reportedly looking to part ways with defender Sacha Boey (24) following the current season. The German giants are exploring options to transfer the player, with particular interest expected from French Ligue 1 clubs.

Since his €30 million transfer from Galatasaray in January 2024, Boey has struggled to secure a regular starting position at Bayern Munich. Despite Galatasaray’s attempts to re-sign the right-back in recent transfer windows, a deal never materialized. With only 15 appearances across all competitions this season, Boey’s departure from Bayern seems increasingly likely this summer.

The Bavarian club is actively seeking to sell the player, and Boey is open to returning to Ligue 1. Bayern has reportedly presented the defender as an option to Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique de Marseille, and OGC Nice. However, none of these clubs have made a firm offer yet. While Bayern prefers a permanent transfer for Boey, whose contract extends until 2028, French clubs may propose loan deals with purchase options due to the ongoing financial challenges in French football.
