Belgium have been compelled to alter their away jersey for the World Cup in Qatar as FIFA has demanded they take away the world ‘LOVE’ from it.

WHAT HAPPENED? After Belgium, together with England, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland, dropped their plans to have their captain put on an armband with ‘OneLove’ written on it, the Crimson Devils needed to go one step additional by masking a message on their jerseys. They may also not be allowed to put on the colorful shirts they supposed to put on throughout warmups, regardless of no such message showing on them.
WHAT THEY SAID: “The phrase LOVE should disappear. It is unhappy, however FIFA leaves us no selection,” Peter Bossaert, president of the Belgian Soccer Affiliation (RBFA), instructed Nieuwsblad. “The remainder of the tools stays unchanged.”
