Betis Stages Remarkable Comeback to Beat Leganes 3-2 in La Liga
Real Betis pulled off an impressive comeback victory against Leganes in the 28th round of La Liga, winning 3-2 after trailing 2-0 at halftime.
Leganes took control early, with Daniel Raba scoring twice in the first half to give the home side a commanding 2-0 lead going into the break. Raba found the net in the 29th and 44th minutes to put Leganes in a strong position.
However, Betis mounted a spirited second-half comeback. Isco began the fightback by converting a penalty in the 64th minute to make it 2-1. Cedric Bakambu then equalized for the visitors in the 78th minute, before Cucho Hernandez completed the turnaround just four minutes later, scoring the winning goal off an assist from Isco.
The victory keeps Betis in 6th place in the La Liga standings with 44 points. Meanwhile, Leganes remains in the relegation zone in 18th position with 27 points.
