German football club Borussia Dortmund has announced the acquisition of Swedish defender Daniel Svensson on a loan deal. The 22-year-old player joins the Bundesliga side from Danish club FC Nordsjælland.

According to the official statement from Borussia Dortmund, the loan agreement for Svensson extends until the conclusion of the 2024/25 season. The transfer market website Transfermarkt currently values the young defender at approximately 5.5 million euros.

Svensson has shown promise in his recent performances, providing two assists in 19 appearances this season. The talented defender has also earned his first cap for the Swedish national team, highlighting his potential on the international stage.
