Borussia Dortmund Parts Ways with Technical Director Mislintat

Borussia Dortmund has officially announced the departure of their Technical Director, Sven Mislintat, according to a statement released by the club.

The 52-year-old German executive had been in the role since May 2024, marking a relatively short tenure. This was not Mislintat’s first stint with the Dortmund club, as he had previously worked there from 1998 to 2017, spanning nearly two decades.

Mislintat’s career in football management has been diverse and notable. Prior to his recent position at Borussia Dortmund, he served as the head of scouting at Arsenal in London. He also held the position of Sporting Director at Ajax and worked as the Technical Director for VfB Stuttgart, showcasing his extensive experience in various aspects of football operations across different European clubs.
