Carlo Ancelotti Affirms Commitment to Real Madrid
Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti has firmly rejected rumors suggesting his departure from the Spanish giants at the end of the season. The experienced Italian manager expressed his strong desire to remain with the club until the end of Florentino Perez’s tenure as Real Madrid’s president.
“Let me be clear: I have no intention of leaving Real Madrid. This decision is not mine to make, but the club’s. I absolutely do not plan to depart from Madrid – I hope to stay alongside Perez until 2029. It would be wonderful to leave together with Flo in four years and have a grand farewell from the club,” Ancelotti stated, as reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Ancelotti’s current contract with Real Madrid extends until the summer of 2026. The Italian tactician has been at the helm of Real Madrid since July 2021, following a previous stint from 2013 to 2015. Under his guidance, Los Blancos have achieved remarkable success, including two La Liga titles, two Spanish Cup victories, two Spanish Super Cup triumphs, and an impressive three Champions League trophies.
