Carlo Ancelotti Calls Vinicius Junior’s Suspension Unfair

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti disagrees with the two-match suspension handed to forward Vinicius Junior.

Ancelotti stated, “The 2-match ban is unfair. I have heard all the insults directed at him – it’s wrong. I’m tired of it. Because when people talk about Vini’s behavior, they forget all the ridicule, insults, and other things he has to endure.” This quote from Ancelotti was reported by insider Fabrizio Romano.

On January 3rd, the 24-year-old Brazilian was sent off in the match against Valencia (2:1) in a rescheduled game from La Liga matchday 12. Vinicius pushed Valencia’s goalkeeper, Stole Dimitrievski.

It later became known that Real Madrid would appeal the Brazilian’s suspension.
