Cassano: Joao Felix Among World’s Best in His Position
Antonio Cassano, the former Italian football star, has expressed high praise for AC Milan’s latest acquisition, Joao Felix. Speaking on a Twitch stream, Cassano shared his enthusiastic opinion about the Portuguese forward who recently joined Milan after a brief stint at Chelsea.
“Joao Felix excites me the most. He’s going to bring us joy,” Cassano declared. “I really like him. When he left Benfica, I thought the transfer fee was excessive, but watching him play, seeing his movement and his ability to play one-twos, I’m impressed.”
Cassano acknowledged that while Felix may lack consistency, his quality is undeniable. “When you see him in the stadium making those skillful plays, it’s thrilling. In my opinion, he’s potentially among the top three left wingers in the world, after Vinicius and Rodrygo.”
The former striker believes Felix still needs to find the right coach who will allow him more freedom on the pitch. “If he finds the right chemistry with his manager, he’ll be phenomenal,” Cassano concluded.
