After the second leg matches, the playoff round for the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 is over. Despite being an early stage, this top competition delivered some thrilling matches. The eight winners from these playoffs now proceed to the Round of 16, joining the eight teams that directly qualified. Here are the results from the UEFA Champions League playoffs:

Real Madrid’s dominant victory over Manchester City was the highlight of this first knockout round. Carlo Ancelotti’s team defeated the British side 3-1, adding to their 3-2 victory from the first leg to secure their passage. PSG recorded the biggest win of the playoff phase, thrashing Stade Brestois 7-0 in the second leg, resulting in a 10-0 aggregate score. There were also surprises in this round: Feyenoord eliminated AC Milan after a 1-1 draw at San Siro; and Bruges won and eliminated Atalanta away (1-3); PSV came back against Juventus in extra time (3-1). Benfica and Monaco, Bayern and Celtic, and Borussia Dortmund and Sporting de Portugal drew their respective matches, which was enough for the home teams (Benfica, Borussia, and Bayern) to advance to the next round.
