Recent reports suggest Chelsea is now the favorite to sign Guehi in the summer. Journalist Dean Jones believes Maresca’s team is leading the race for the player.
Jones commented on Tottenham’s previous interest in Guehi, saying he was skeptical initially as he hadn’t heard about it from his contacts at Tottenham.
Jones added that there was a feeling that if Guehi were to leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season, he would likely choose to join Chelsea.
Chelsea is also considering other centre-back options besides Guehi and may also look to strengthen their full-back positions.
South American media reported that Chelsea has contacted the agent of Flamengo right-back Wesley Franca, as BlueCo is known to target young talent from Brazil.
In addition to Franca, Sunderland left-back Dennis Cirkin is also reportedly a target for Chelsea this summer.

Cirkin, a former Spurs defender who joined Sunderland in 2021, has become a key player for the club as they aim for Premier League promotion.
Journalist Graeme Bailey states that Chelsea is actively monitoring Cirkin, who is considered a standout player for Sunderland.
Chelsea Exploring Dennis Cirkin Signing
According to Bailey, several Premier League clubs are interested in the 22-year-old. He claims Chelsea is actively pursuing Cirkin, but faces competition from other clubs.

Bailey mentioned that many Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, West Ham, Everton, and Leeds, are monitoring Cirkin, considering him an “outstanding prospect.”
Sam Parkin, a former Championship striker, has praised Cirkin as “top-class” for his performances this season. It is estimated that Cirkin could cost around £20 million.
