Como Sporting Director Reveals Fabregas’ Strong Interest in Dele Alli

Como’s sporting director Carlalberto Ludi has hinted at a possible development regarding Dele Alli, who was recently spotted watching Cesc Fabregas’ team defeat Roma 2-0. Reports suggest the former England international may begin training with Como on December 26th to regain fitness, fueling speculation about a potential signing.

While Fabregas has been cautious in his comments, Ludi was more forthcoming, stating that Alli would be of interest to any club if he were in top form. He revealed that Como has a good relationship with Alli’s agent and that “something interesting could develop,” though he emphasized it was too early to provide specifics.

Ludi explained that a few weeks would be needed for mutual evaluation before any decisions are made. He noted that Fabregas is particularly enthusiastic about Alli, saying, “Fabregas likes him a lot.”

Regarding another player, Nico Paz, Ludi dismissed rumors of a January departure. Despite Paz’s impressive recent performances attracting attention from Serie A and international clubs, Ludi insisted, “There’s no chance he’ll leave in January. He’s a pure talent, always ready to contribute to the team.”

Paz recently scored his second Serie A goal in the victory over Roma, helping Como move out of the relegation zone. Ludi added that to his knowledge, no concrete offers have been made for Paz, underscoring the club’s intention to retain the young talent.
