Conte Suspended for Bologna vs Napoli Match
Napoli head coach Antonio Conte will not be present at the customary pre-match press conference before his team’s upcoming Serie A fixture against Bologna. This is due to Conte receiving a one-match suspension after accumulating five yellow cards this season.
The crucial match at Stadio Dall’Ara is scheduled for Monday evening, concluding Week 31 of Serie A. Napoli currently occupy second place in the league standings, trailing leaders Inter by just three points.
Conte’s suspension stems from his fifth yellow card of the campaign, which he received during Napoli’s recent 2-1 victory over AC Milan. As a result, he will be required to watch the Bologna match from the stands.
Meanwhile, table-toppers Inter face a challenging schedule ahead. They are set to visit struggling Parma at Stadio Tardini on Saturday, followed by a high-stakes Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich just three days later.
Conte, who joined Napoli last summer, is under contract with the club until June 2027. His tactical acumen and leadership have been instrumental in Napoli’s strong performance this season, keeping them in close contention for the Serie A title.
