The round of 16 matches in Spain’s Copa del Rey have concluded, with all eight La Liga teams advancing to the quarterfinals. This stage featured 16 teams competing between January 14-16, including four lower-division sides facing top-flight opposition.

In a surprise result, Osasuna knocked out defending champions Athletic Bilbao with a 3-2 away win.
Barcelona cruised to a 5-1 victory over Real Betis in the only all-La Liga matchup so far. Real Sociedad defeated Rayo Vallecano 3-1, while Real Madrid needed extra time to overcome Celta Vigo 5-2 in the round’s most dramatic encounter.
