Coppa Italia: Milan Triumphs 3-1 Over Roma in Quarter-Final Match

AC Milan secured their place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals with a dominant 3-1 win against AS Roma at the San Siro. Former Roma striker Tammy Abraham scored twice for Milan, while new signing João Félix marked his debut with a goal.

Milan took control early, with Abraham opening the scoring in the 16th minute off a Theo Hernández assist. He doubled the lead just before halftime, again set up by Hernández. Roma pulled one back through Artem Dovbyk early in the second half, but João Félix sealed the victory for Milan with a composed finish on his debut.

The Rossoneri will now face either Inter Milan or Lazio in the semi-finals. Both teams fielded new signings, with Kyle Walker starting for Milan and Roma introducing several new faces from the bench.

Milan dominated possession and created more clear-cut chances throughout the match. Roma threatened at times but struggled to break down Milan’s defense consistently. The result continues Milan’s strong run of form as they pursue multiple trophies this season.

For Roma, the defeat ends their Coppa Italia campaign and increases pressure on the team to perform in other competitions. Manager José Mourinho will need to quickly regroup his squad as they return to Serie A action.
