Kevin De Bruyne has concluded his commitments with the Belgian national team and is now prepared to officially finalize his transfer to Napoli, according to reports from Italy.
The 34-year-old midfielder is on the brink of joining Antonio Conte`s Serie A-winning Napoli side on a free transfer as his Manchester City contract expires, ending a decade-long stint at the Etihad Stadium.
Initially expected to complete his move to Napoli in early June, De Bruyne postponed the final steps of his transfer until after Belgium`s World Cup qualifiers, which took place over the past week.
De Bruyne started in both of Belgium`s June World Cup qualifiers, including a 1-1 draw with North Macedonia and a thrilling 4-3 victory over Wales on Monday night, where he scored the winning goal in the 88th minute.
