Dybala Back in Rome: Recovery Progress and Future Outlook
Paulo Dybala has made his way back to Italy following a surgical procedure, and the Roma forward acknowledges that he might not be ready for the beginning of the upcoming season.
The Argentine star suffered a thigh tendon injury during a Serie A match against Cagliari. The severity of the injury was immediately apparent, necessitating surgery for a full recovery.
After undergoing the operation in London, Dybala arrived at the Rome airport, where journalists inquired about his potential return before September. “I’m really not certain,” he responded.
“I can walk without crutches, but medical advice is to continue using them. I’m feeling good, and I appreciate everyone’s support,” Dybala added.
When asked about attending the team’s upcoming match against Lecce, he said, “I need to consult with the medical team, but it’s unlikely. However, I plan to be present for other matches.”
Commenting on Argentina’s recent 4-1 victory over Brazil in a World Cup qualifier, Dybala smiled and remarked, “I watched it. We’ve come to expect such results against Brazil lately.”
As Dybala focuses on his recovery, Roma fans eagerly await updates on his progress and potential return date to the pitch.
