Evan Ferguson continued his impressive goal-scoring run for Roma, netting the only goal in their 1-0 pre-season friendly victory away at Kaiserslautern.
The Irish striker capitalized on a defensive error by the hosts, pouncing on a poor back-pass that troubled the goalkeeper. Ferguson calmly slotted the ball into an empty net to give Roma the lead.
This goal marks Ferguson`s fifth in just two appearances for the Giallorossi, following his remarkable four-goal debut in the previous match.
Roma created several other chances throughout the game. Matias Soule came close with a curling free-kick that was palmed away, while Niccolò Pisilli missed an opportunity set up by Devyne Rensch.
Kaiserslautern`s first real threat came around the hour mark, with Hanslik heading wide. Roma substitute Ebrima Darboe nearly doubled the lead late on, his shot striking the outside of the post just moments after coming on.
