Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino spoke to DAZN after the away defeat against Napoli, which ended 2-1.
STARTING FROM THE APPROACH IN THE SECOND HALF? – “Absolutely, and not just in the second half. Today we faced a very strong team, in their stadium and with their fans. A team built to win the Scudetto, with great individual talents. We came here with courage, and I really liked the team. In the first half, we conceded, but we were in the game, and then in the second half, we showed courage and quality of play. I complimented the team; this is who we are, and we need to build from here. We are growing, and on Thursday, we have a final that should give us enthusiasm.”
FAGIOLI – “Fagioli is growing week by week, and I’m happy because for me, he is a champion. He understands football and is raising the level of the team. In the second half, we were more aggressive, trying to man-mark Napoli across the whole pitch. After a defeat, I don’t like to be positive, but today I can’t say anything to the guys because they gave everything.”
GUDMUNDSSON – “We missed him a lot; he gives us unpredictability and goals. We are recovering him; today he played a great game, and we are happy to have him back. We also need to recover Folorunsho, Colpani, and Adli; I need everyone. We want to finish this season on a high note.”
COMUZZO, RANIERI, AND THE DIFFICULTIES AGAINST LUKAKU – “We know Lukaku’s threat well; today he was in great form, but Marì contained him well. No injuries: Comuzzo finished with cramps, and Ranieri has played a lot. I wanted to give him a rest because on Thursday, we have a final and we want to advance.”
