Fiorentina Considers Everton’s Calvert-Lewin for January Transfer
Fiorentina is exploring options to strengthen their attacking lineup in the upcoming January transfer window, with Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin emerging as a potential target. The Italian club is also considering other forwards, including Monza’s Milan Djuric.
Currently enjoying a successful run in Serie A and having secured a spot in the Conference League Round of 16, Fiorentina is looking to add firepower to their squad. While Moise Kean leads the team with 10 goals, the club seeks additional offensive support.
Calvert-Lewin, whose contract with Everton expires in June 2025, is reportedly high on Fiorentina’s wishlist. The 27-year-old English striker has been with Everton since 2016 and has represented England’s national team, scoring four goals in 11 appearances.
Despite a slow start to the current season with only two goals, Calvert-Lewin’s potential move to Serie A could reinvigorate his career. The transfer would also reunite him with former Everton teammate Moise Kean.
In addition to Calvert-Lewin, Fiorentina is considering other options such as Monza’s tall center-forward Milan Djuric and promising Serie B talent Cristian Shpendi from Cesena.
As the January transfer window approaches, Fiorentina’s pursuit of a new striker highlights their ambition to compete at the highest level in both domestic and European competitions.
