Fiorentina`s woes deepened as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Como at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. The home side took an early lead through Rolando Mandragora but were undone by late goals from Marc Oliver Kempf and Jayden Addai.
The Viola entered the match in poor form after draws against Cagliari and Torino and a 3-1 loss to Napoli. Manager Vincenzo Italiano made tactical changes, switching to a 4-4-2 formation and handing Tariq Lamptey his first start. Como came into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw with Genoa.
Fiorentina struck first in the 6th minute when Mandragora`s initial free-kick was blocked, but he fired home the rebound. The goal celebration led to tensions, with Como`s Mergim Vojvoda receiving a yellow card for pushing Dodo.
Como gradually grew into the game, with Maxi Perrone heading over from a Nicolas Kuhn cross. Fiorentina suffered a blow when Lamptey was forced off with a knee injury after just 21 minutes, replaced by debutant Niccolò Fortini.
The visitors equalized in the 65th minute as Kempf headed in Nico Paz`s free-kick. Como then snatched victory in stoppage time through Addai, who beat David de Gea at his near post after a mazy run.
This defeat leaves Fiorentina in crisis, while Como secured a valuable away win to boost their Serie A campaign.
