Tullio Tinti, the agent of AC Milan defender Matteo Gabbia, has urged the Rossoneri to give his client more playing time. He noted that being Italian might put Gabbia at a disadvantage compared to some foreign teammates.
Gabbia was a regular starter for Milan in the first half of the 2024-2025 season under Paulo Fonseca, but after Sergio Conceicao’s arrival at the end of 2024, his playing time became less consistent.
Gabbia agent urges Milan for more game time
Gabbia’s agent insists that Matteo has all the necessary qualities to be a leading defender for Milan and believes that the club should give him more opportunities to prove himself in the starting lineup.

Tinti also hinted that Italian players at Milan have to convince coaches of their worth more than some other footballers, who, in his opinion, get a place in the squad more easily.
“Milan extended his contract a few months ago, but being Italian, he always has to prove his worth to the coaches, while others come and immediately get a place in the starting lineup. He should be given a little more consideration,” Tinti said in an interview with Radio Sportiva, quoted by Milannews.it.
“He has proven that he is a Milan player and has the necessary mentality to play for this club.”
