Genoa Secures Double Deal: Tengstedt from Benfica and Real Madrid’s Obrador

Genoa is making significant strides in the transfer market, with reports indicating agreements for two promising players. The Italian club has reportedly reached terms with Benfica for striker Casper Tengstedt and is close to securing Real Madrid`s young talent Rafael Obrador.

According to reliable sources, Genoa has arranged a loan deal for Tengstedt with an option to buy at the season`s end. This move marks a return to Serie A for the 25-year-old Danish forward, who previously played for Hellas Verona in the 2024-25 season. Despite being hampered by injuries, Tengstedt managed to score six goals and provide two assists in just 25 Serie A appearances for Verona.

Simultaneously, Genoa is finalizing a permanent transfer for Rafael Obrador from Real Madrid. The 21-year-old left-back, a product of Real Madrid`s renowned youth academy, is seen as an ideal replacement for Honest Ahanor, who is set to join Atalanta for €20 million. The deal for Obrador is expected to include a buy-back clause for Real Madrid and a significant sell-on fee percentage.

These strategic moves demonstrate Genoa`s ambition to strengthen their squad and compete at a higher level in Serie A. The addition of Tengstedt could provide much-needed firepower to their attack, while Obrador represents a long-term investment in defensive talent.

As the transfer window progresses, football fans will be keen to see how these potential signings impact Genoa`s performance in the upcoming season.
