Georges Mikautadze Committed to Lyon Despite Interest from Roma

Georgian forward Georges Mikautadze, 24, has found his footing at Olympique Lyonnais after a challenging start. With 8 goals and 1 assist in 27 appearances for OL, Mikautadze has attracted attention from other clubs. However, he has reportedly turned down offers from both Galatasaray and AS Roma, demonstrating his commitment to Lyon.

Mikautadze joined Lyon from FC Metz last summer for €18 million, following an impressive stint in Ligue 2 where he was named player of the season in 2022-2023. His 26 goals in 45 games for Metz earned him a brief spell with Ajax before returning to France. Despite scoring 12 goals in 19 appearances upon his return to Metz, the club was relegated.
